At the end of 2019, COVID-19 was seemingly confined in China. But a few weeks into January, the virus suddenly became a global pandemic. Nonetheless, there are several countries which have not reported any coronavirus cases.
COVID-19, which is a respiratory illness transmitted through body fluids such as saliva and mucus, has now been reported in over 185 countries.
Governments and health officials in every country are urging people to stay at home, practice social distancing and most importantly avoid going to other counties/states/regions for unnecessary reasons.
According to Johns Hopkins University data, more than 2 million people have been infected by the virus. The total global death tall stands over 126,000 and close to 500,000 patients have so far recovered.
Below is a list of a few countries which have not reported any coronavirus cases:
- Marshall Islands
- Sao Tome and Principe
- Solomon Islands
